Welcome to our training sessions
Whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned player, we’ve got a spot for you.
Our Training Philosophy
Our training sessions are designed to bring together both experienced and new players of our men's and women's team, in a unified environment where we can focus on fitness, conditioning, and skill development during pre-season to esnure that all participants build a strong foundation. When it comes to full contact drills, we carefully separate into groups based on skill level, allowing each player to train safely and effectively.
What to expect in a training session
Fitness: Expect high-energy conditioning sessions focused on building endurance, strength, and agility. We incorporate many drills from intervall or tackle bag runs, to ball-wrestling exercises to ensure you're match-ready and in top physical condition.
Skills: Our training emphasizes fundamental and advanced rugby skills, including passing, tackling, and rucking. You'll participate in drills like the "3v2 Attack" for improving decision-making under pressure and "Tackle Technique" drills to perfect your defensive play.
Tactics: Tactical understanding is crucial, and we cover everything from basic game strategies to offensive and defensive patterns. Expect sessions that include "Game Simulation" exercises, where you'll practice executing set plays and adapting to various game scenarios.
